On 1 April 2010 Jacek Otffinowski becomes the new CEO at Ipsos. He is taking over from Dinko Svetopetric, who is parting ways with the company to focus on new plans.
Jacek Otffinowski has been with Ipsos since 2003. He formed the Polish branch of Ipsos ASI, an international part of the Ipsos Group specialising in advert studies. Within a short space of time he expanded the small four-person team into a resilient advertising research department employing dozens of researchers, providing services for global and local clients as well as coordinating multinational research projects.
Before joining Ipsos Jacek Otffinowski spent over a dozen years in managerial positions in advertising agencies such as Euro RSCG, Tequila Poland and Wunderman Warszawa. He was also an independent marketing consultant. He is a member of PTBRIO (the Polish Society of Market and Opinion Researchers) and the Auditing Committee of OFBOR (the Polish Association of Public Opinion and Marketing Research Firms). A trained psychologist, he has a wife and two grown-up children.
The new Director of Ipsos ASI in Poland is Steven Vogt, previously Associate Director of Ipsos ASI, and before then the Client Service Director. Steven Vogt has been at Ipsos ASI since 2006, and has around 20 years of experience in marketing. Before joining Ipsos he worked both in advertising agencies (in managerial positions in Euro RSCG, Twin advertising /DDB) and also in companies ordering such services (he was Managing Director at EdenSPrings, Novum Cryobank). Vogt is a graduate of the Management Faculty at West London University, and also studied linguistics at the English Philology Faculty of Warsaw University. He is married and has three daughters.
